The Fédération Gay-Lussac allows schools to offer modular programmes depending upon the desired speciality.  If that is not taught in the school of origin, there are gateways in the final year of the engineering programme which allow the student to attend another of the schools of the Fédération.

Each request is examined on a case-by-case basis.
