A word from the President of the Federation Gay-Lussac
Rose-Noëlle Vannier, Director of Centrale Lille (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille), was elected president of the FGL network of 20 chemistry and process engineering graduate schools in March 2024. She takes over from Laurent Prat, Director of Toulouse INP-ENSIACET.
Her roadmap for the Federation Gay-Lussac :
- Working on the development of new common courses for all the 20 graduate schools in chemistry and process engineering for the academic years following the baccalaureate, in order to obtain an engineering diploma.
- Continuing to develop educational projects in common between the graduate schools based on the model of the hybrid teaching platform, a project financed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR – National research agency).
- Rolling out the Décarbochim project, decarbonation the chemistry industry, alongside France Chimie and the ADIUT*. This means working within the framework of the AMI** and future skills and professions***.

***Compétences et Métiers d’Avenir (future skills and professions) By teaching, research and innovation, continue to be a major actor concerning the key issues for the coming years: reindustrialization, delocalization, recycling, energy efficiency, and decarbonation, etc. The Fédération Gay-Lussac has an important role to play as a specialist in matter cycles.
