International outlook : What are the Opportunities for the Graduate Schools in the Fédération Gay-Lussac?

In addition to the programmes in each graduate school, the Fédération Gay-Lussac aims to pool the resources of each of them in order to favor their international outlook. Specific actions are organized to forge partnerships with foreign establishments and therefore increase student mobility.

The flagship program of the Fédération Gay-Lussac concerns international study – via the programme Chem.I.St (Chemistry International Studies) – proposed in 5 of the graduate schools and is designed for students from all over the world.

In 2025, the Fédération opened its first Summer School dedicated to decarbonation.

The Fédération also has a strong presence in China with two Franco-Chinese institutes : Chimie Pékin and Chimie Shanghai

Some graduate schools are also partners in the ERASMUS + consortium of the Fédération Gay-Lussac. This increases international visibility to both laboratories and firms in the member states in order to promote the 2- to 6-month internships by their students.

And finally, since 2022, an agreement has enabled exchanges between the 20 graduate schools in the Fédération and the 19 Indian Institutes of Technology
