Isabelle CALDERARA
My career
I joined ENSCMu after a 2-year diploma in mathematics (DEUG). I graduated in 1991. I then did a PhD with Essilor to develop products related to medical devices. I then joined the research and development department of that company before changing to engineering and installing production systems. After that, I joined Novartis, a pharmaceutical company.
Today, I work in production. I am in charge of the day-to-day running of production units.
In brief
I chose chemistry because it is a vast, applied field! You can choose research, synthesis, development, production, etc. Chemistry is present in almost all areas of everyday life. Chemistry can please all tastes and interests!
