Chemistry and plant processes

The colloquium on “Chemistry and Plant Processes” will take place in Montpellier from 27 to 29 January 2016. It is the fifth Research colloquium of the Federation, and follows that held in Clermont-Ferrand in December 2005 (“Polymers”), in Rennes in December 2008 (“Chemistry of and for the Living »), in Strasbourg in November 2011 (“Chemistry for Sustained Development”) and in Paris December 2013 (“Chemistry and the City of Tomorrow”).

This 5th colloquium is organised by ENSCM.

The Federation Gay-Lussac colloquium is, by definition, a place of multi-disciplinary encounters and interactions between both established and young researchers. Its emphasis is especially on young researchers and graduate students. This scientific conference is often the cornerstone of the beginning of a career for a large number of scientists who find there, the first opportunity to present their work in a high level scientific meeting.

Based around the theme of Chemistry and Plant Processes, this colloquium is a crossroads between academic and applied research in the growing sectors of biorefineries, biofuels and bio-energies, building blocks, fine and pharmaceutical chemistry, plant based resources, bio-sourced materials, plant fibres and clean chemistry, etc.

Registration is free.
