Immersion at the international elite engineering school program in Shanghai

This video, produced by China Central Television (CCTV), takes us to the heart of the international elite engineering school program in Shanghai, a chemical engineering programme born from a Franco-Chinese educational partnership between the Chinese university ECUST and the Gay-Lussac Federation, a French network of chemical and process engineering schools.

The video features testimonials from students and teachers, who share their experiences in this bilingual and intercultural programme, as well as the role of the programme in strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between China and France.

The international elite engineering school program in Shanghai

The international elite engineering school program based in Shanghai was created in cooperation between the Fédération Gay-Lussac (France) and the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in Shanghai.

This partnership was launched in 2009 to develop a joint curriculum in the field of chemistry, and was subsequently consolidated with official recognition by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

After 3 years, studying in China, students enter one of the graduate schools in the Federation, in France.
