2nd Edition of the Summer School “Chemistry & Decarbonisation”

From July 1st to 10th, 2026, the Gay-Lussac Federation and its 20 chemistry and chemical engineering schools are hosting the second edition of their Summer School at ENSCMu in Mulhouse, Alsace.

About the program

This international summer school, fully focused on decarbonisation, combines lectures, hands-on projects, company visits, and cultural activities. Key topics include:

  • Environmental impacts and green transition challenges
  • CO₂ capture and valorisation
  • Industrial decarbonisation and energy efficiency
  • Hydrogen as an energy vector
  • Recycling and material valorisation


Who can apply?
Master and PhD students from partner universities are welcome, with exceptional Bachelor candidates considered.


Practical info
Early bird registration (before April 1st, 2026) is €2,200; standard registration is €2,600. The fee includes 2-week accommodation, lunches, special evenings, and a tram pass in Mulhouse.
